    Who We Want:

    Handtevy is seeking an experienced and strategic Lead QA Engineer to lead and drive our quality assurance efforts across mobile and SaaS applications. This role involves championing quality across all stages of development, implementing best practices, and continuously advancing testing methods to support the release of high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly products.

    As a Lead QA Engineer, you'll lead our QA team and be responsible for both hands-on testing and strategic oversight, including implementing and optimizing automated testing frameworks, guiding test case creation, and enhancing quality processes. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust and effective QA processes that align with our product and company goals.

The proprietary customizable, age-based system minimizes medical errors, increases patient safety and renews provider confidence. Our mission is to enable clinicians to provide the highest standard of emergency medical care to all critically ill and injured patients with an emphasis on the pediatric population.     Qualifications:

    Hands-on experience with front-end and mobile application testing.

    A passion for delivering reliable, high-performance applications.

    Drive product quality by implementing best testing practices.

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

    A minimum of 5 years of hands-on software testing experience, ideally as a Test Automation Engineer.

    Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and Git.

    Experience with functional automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.

    Strong knowledge of various software testing methods (Regression, Load/Stress, Code Coverage Analysis, Black/White box testing, Acceptance testing, Performance testing).

    Proven ability to solve problems, identify root causes, and troubleshoot effectively.

    Strong verbal and written communication skills for discussing, developing, and implementing plans.

    Responsibilities:

    Design and oversee the execution of test strategies and automation frameworks, ensuring coverage across UI, API, and performance validation.

    Review requirements and technical documentation to fully understand application features and write test cases.

    Perform exploratory and manual testing for complex features and scenarios not covered by automation.

    Ensure applications meet high accessibility and usability standards for an optimal user experience.

    Triage and manage user-reported bugs by thoroughly identifying, documenting, and tracking them. Assist developers in reproducing and resolving issues.

    Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure overall system stability.

    Collaborate closely with DevOps and development teams to deliver stable, robust automation suites.

    Regularly update the QA process with the latest in testing tools, technologies, and approaches, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
