We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic talent with experience in the health and wellness industry for an assistant general manager position. Driven and hardworking individuals to join our team. Stretch Zone is the pioneer in practitioner-assisted stretching. Our locations span across the country and we continue to grow every day. We are seeking out individuals versed in sales with a management background. If selected the applicant must be able to complete two weeks of training where they will learn our modalities as well as how to manage a location. selected, all new hires must pass two weeks of training where they will learn and test our modalities and operations. Responsibilities of an Assistant General Manager:
This position is responsible for assisting the studio General Manager to drive studio sales. This includes, but is not limited to:
Introduce potential prospects to our methods and present them with a program suitable and tailored for them
Meet or exceed sales quotas and manages the pipeline of leads, while finding new leads. This is a SALES role!
Supervise and mentor staff in the area of sales, closing techniques, and overcoming price objections
Serve the Stretch Zone client base with excellent customer service, effective practitioner-assisted stretching techniques, and the creation of a long-term customer loyalty environment, to support renewal sales
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Prior SALES and LEADERSHIP experience in one of the following roles is REQUIRED: Store/Studio Manager, Personal Trainer / Coaching, Fitness Coach, Health & Wellness Professional, Physical Therapy, Healthcare Industry, Athlete, Exercise Science, Sports or Fitness Professional, Personal Trainer, Sports Medicine
Hospitality experience is a plus
Degree in Health, Wellness, & Fitness field, e.g., Physical Therapy, Kinesiology, Fitness Management, Exercise Science or related type college-level anatomy and physiology course work is a plus
