Responsibilities:
Create a Safe & Nurturing Learning Environment:
Maintain a well-organized and engaging classroom that supports child development.
Ensure a safe environment by maintaining proper supervision and staff-to-child ratios.
Perform light cleaning tasks and ensure classroom materials are well-maintained.
Implement Engaging Curriculum & Activities:
Deliver developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with approved curriculum plans.
Encourage creativity through hands-on learning, including art, music, and play-based activities.
Document and share children’s progress through daily updates and observations.
Support Children’s Growth & Development:
Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through positive interactions.
Model respectful communication and problem-solving skills.
Assist with diapering and potty training as needed.
Engage with Families & Maintain Professionalism:
Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and daily experiences.
Encourage family involvement through meetings and engagement opportunities.
Stay up to date on childcare regulations, policies, and professional development.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and positive team environment.
