    COMPANY OVERVIEW: YogaSix believes everyone deserves the mind-body experience of yoga and fitness! Offering six core class types to accommodate all levels, YogaSix is energizing, empowering, and fun. Established in 2012, YogaSix is the fastest-growing boutique yoga company in the U.S., with over 200 independently owned locations worldwide.

    POSITION: The Lead Teacher supports the General Manager and Department of Education by providing programming expertise, onboarding, and coaching for YogaSix Mount Kisco instructors. This part-time role includes a flexible schedule with an estimated commitment of 5–15 hours per week, plus teaching. This is a great opportunity for passionate instructors to mentor others while growing their career. Training is provided; prior lead teacher experience is a plus.

    DUTIES

    Deliver Exceptional Classes:

    Maintain a consistent presence at YogaSix Mount Kisco, teaching at least 5 classes per week (3+ formats).

    Deliver engaging, student-focused classes aligned with YogaSix standards.

    Manage practice room setup, props, music, and lighting.

    Teach safe, creative classes and clean studio spaces post-class.

    Teacher Coaching & Development:

    Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop instructors.

    Master all 6 core formats and distinguish their features.

    Offer feedback to teachers and management.

    Lead in-house trainings and submit audition evaluations.

    Build Connection & Community:

    Arrive 15 minutes early to connect with students.

    Provide personalized attention before and after class.

    Support studio success through trial period attention, event promotion, and program knowledge.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    Minimum E-RYT 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certification (RYT 500 preferred).

    Current CPR Certification.

    Warm, approachable personality with a genuine ability to connect with students.

    Committed to personal growth, coaching, and lifelong learning.

    Experience coaching and resolving personnel issues.

    Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Professional, punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.

    Comfortable with studio software and technology.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    Physically able to demo postures, monitor students, and facilitate energizing classes in a heated room.

    Must sit, stand, bend, lift (up to 30 lbs.), and climb stairs as needed.

    Specific vision and hearing abilities required.

    COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

    Per Class Rate: $41.25–$59.25.

    Admin Hourly Rate: $21.50/hr for tasks outside teaching.
