Position Overview
We are seeking Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers who are enthusiastic about early childhood education and creating a positive learning environment for children. In these roles, you will ensure the safety, development, and well-being of children while fostering positive relationships with parents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet each child by name and acknowledge parents during drop-off and pick-up times daily.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of every child in your care.
- Maintain confidentiality of school directives, curriculum, and software.
- Read, understand, and implement all policies and procedures of the center and comply with state licensing regulations.
- Maintain professional and positive relationships with parents and coworkers.
- Inform the Director or Assistant Director of any supplies needed for the upcoming months.
- Follow established standards for the conduct and responsibilities of all staff members who interact with children.
Lead Teacher Qualifications
- BS or BA degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience working with young children.
- Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and basic computer literacy.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Assistant Teacher Qualifications
- 60 credit hours, including at least 6 in Early Childhood Education (ECE), or a CDA (Child Development Associate credential).
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience working with young children.
- Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and basic computer literacy.
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
