Overview:
Daisy is a national smart space installation and services company that simplifies smart home and office technology to make it work optimally, solving one of the biggest in-home problems today and bringing more joy into the lives of our clients. We are seeking a Lead Technician in our Scottsdale, Arizona branch who is proficient at installing, configuring, and maintaining low voltage integrated system equipment, devices, and components. The right candidate for this role has complete knowledge of Control 4 and understands the basic concepts of how audio, video, communication, and control devices work. The Lead Technician performs system configuration, calibration, programming, testing, and troubleshooting – as well as demonstrates mastery of basic wiring/cabling for low voltage integrated systems.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Reads and interprets blueprints, diagrams, floor plans, specifications, and operational/product manuals
Installs Control 4, configures, and maintains audio/video, satellite/cable, networking/data systems, devices and components
Troubleshoots simple and complex systems
Installs and terminates low voltage cable
Installs low voltage panel and junction boxes
Travels to various job sites
Uses hand and power tools safely
Maintains company issued tools, equipment, and vehicle
Interacts with clients, builders, designers, architects, and other industry professionals
Communicates every day with the Project Manager on the progress of the project
Performs other related duties as assigned
Additional Requirements:
Current CR-67 low voltage license holder OR 2 years of qualified experience (journeyman or supervisory) with the ability to prepare for and pass the Arizona CR-67 examination
Minimum of 2-3 years of low voltage integrated systems work experience and/or hands-on study required
Industry recognized (CEDIA, AVIXA, manufacturer, etc.) credentials preferred
Minimum of a high school diploma required

Demonstrates excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution

Can pass a drug screen and background check
Possesses a valid Arizona driver’s license and access to a reliable, insured motor vehicle
Able to independently lift items up to 50 pounds
Capable of sitting, standing, and kneeling for extended periods of time
Must adhere to state and federal laws as well as abide by traffic laws while using company vehicle and/or on company business
Available to work 8am-5pm, Monday – Friday; with flexibility for on call rotations which may include occasional evenings and weekends
