First Atlantic Restoration is seeking a Lead Technician in the Richmond area that is highly motivated, reliable, personable, and hard working. The Lead Technician is responsible for performing and overseeing the hands-on water, fire, mold, and trauma scene mitigation. Must have 2-years+ experience in emergency services as Lead Technician or equivalent.
Requirements:
A driver’s license
Excellent verbal, written, telephonic and interpersonal communication skills
IICRC Certification in Water Damage Restoration, and at least one of the following: Applied Microbial Restoration, Fire and Smoke Remediation, Trauma Scene Cleaning, Commercial Drying Specialist or Applied Structural Drying
Proficient in MS Office, Xactimate, DocuSketch and MICA
Excellent knowledge of mitigation and construction processes and equipment
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple people and projects while working under deadlines
Convey a positive image of FAR in accordance with company policies and Core Values
Ability to work and communicate effectively with all FAR team members and departments
A positive attitude and professional manner

This job requires weekend work and may have overtime requirements. Drug testing and background checks will be done prior to hiring.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage a team of 4-6 mitigation technicians
Remove damaged building materials such that the restoration process can occur in the most efficient manner
Participate in the on-call rotation schedule as required
Maintain proper equipment tracking procedures
Communicate with the homeowner effectively and compassionately in a polite and courteous manner
