Role Description: We are looking for a passionate Lead Toddler Teacher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will create and implement engaging activities and educational experiences for toddlers, helping them develop important skills in a safe and stimulating environment. Required Qualifications:
Experience & Education:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in early childhood education.
Some college coursework in Child Development or Early Childhood Education preferred.
CDA certification highly valued (not required).
Certifications:
CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain).
TB test and physical required (preferably completed before starting).
Background check mandatory.
Responsibilities as a Lead Toddler Teacher:
Curriculum Development & Implementation:
Develop age-appropriate lesson plans that focus on sensory, motor, language, and social skills to encourage holistic development.
Support Child Development:
Observe and document each child’s progress, adjusting activities as needed to meet individual developmental needs.
Family Communication:
Maintain open, positive communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child’s progress and developmental milestones.
Maintain a Safe & Clean Environment:
Follow health and safety protocols, including sanitizing toys, cleaning tables and chairs, and ensuring the classroom is well-organized and safe.
Collaborate with Team Members:
Work closely with other teachers, assistants, and staff to create a supportive and nurturing classroom environment.
Hands-On Participation:
Be actively engaged in classroom activities, including playing with children, assisting with meals, and helping with diaper changes.
Hours & Pay:
Pay: $18/hr
Licensed hours of operation: 5:00 AM - Midnight (staffing schedules will be adjusted based on demand).
