The Lead Toddler Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children ages 18 months to 3 years. This role includes planning activities that promote developmental growth, ensuring child safety, and communicating with parents about their child's progress.
Schedule 8:00am - 4:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and Lead Activities: Create fun, age-appropriate lessons that encourage language, motor skills, and social development.
Manage the Classroom: Ensure a safe, clean, and positive environment where children can thrive.
Child Safety: Supervise children at all times and follow safety procedures during activities.
Communication: Keep parents informed about their child's development and address any concerns.
Teamwork: Work with other teachers and staff to ensure smooth classroom operations.
Record Keeping: Track each child's progress and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma required Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
Experience: At least 2 years working with toddlers.
Certifications: First Aid/CPR (or willing to obtain), background check clearance.
Skills: Great communication, patience, and ability to work with young children.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to lift children (up to 40 lbs.) and assist with physical activities.
Occasional outdoor activities in various weather conditions.
