Lead Tree Climber
Looking for a safe, well trained, and efficient climber. We can advance your training and have some of the latest equipment to work with. We appreciate arborists but we will also train and help you attain your ISA certification. As a company we take optional trips to ISA and TCIA conferences. You will learn diseases, tree identification, climbing techniques, rigging, leadership skills, and customer service. We work with bucket trucks, mini skid (ditch witch), 60 yard grapple, GRCS, cranes when needed, and we want people who want a career not just a job
Requirements
minimum 3 years experience working professionally as a climber
experience rigging in small spaces over homes and properties
-Drug free (medical marijuana use outside of work hours will be case dependent)
must have your size saddle and own climbing gaffs. (We do have extra but an experienced climber should have ones they are comfortable and confident in
knowledge of proper pruning
ability to trim without gaffs ( we can train on this but prefer precious ability
Leadership skills to lead by example and be part and of a team and assist others to grow
Ability to work as a team and assist with other job responsibilities when a hand is necessary including groundwork.
Valid drivers license. ( leaving a CDL will increase pay
Ability to train others and help them grow ( no member left behind attitude)
communication skills geared towards constructive criticism but being able to reprimand when needed
organization skills
being a certified arborist will increase pay
Hours 630am start to 630 pm Mon through Thursday but Friday only occasional
Weekly bonuses equal to one days pay is awarded on top of pay to each team member when quote is made each week
Fridays are generally off and weekends as well unless we are working storms or need Friday to finish off the weeks work scheduled for the four day week.
If called on your scheduled time off for emergency job it is double pay if on a weekend day and a full days pay if on a night to safely remove a tree from a roof or to keep from falling on one.
Pay ranges and dependent on experience 300-500 per day
Average work week is 48 hours
