Job Summary: As the Lead Water Damage and Carpet Cleaning Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional restoration and cleaning services. This position combines expertise in water damage mitigation with carpet and floor cleaning, ensuring customer satisfaction and quality results while guiding and mentoring team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and perform water damage mitigation, restoration services, and carpet cleaning projects with precision and efficiency.
Communicate clearly with customers, providing updates and addressing concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
Oversee job site activities, including setting up and monitoring equipment, documenting progress, and ensuring timely project completion.
Train and mentor team members, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
Maintain and inspect equipment, vehicles, and tools to ensure they are in proper working condition.
Perform post-job inspections to verify work quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Complete detailed daily logs, work orders, and other required documentation accurately and promptly.
Ensure company vehicles are stocked with necessary tools, supplies, and equipment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma (or GED) required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in water damage mitigation, carpet cleaning, or related services preferred.
Certifications in Water Mitigation, Mold Remediation, Carpet Cleaning, or related areas are highly preferred (IICRC certifications a plus).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Basic math skills to determine equipment needs.
Basic computer proficiency for reporting, logging activities, and client communication.
A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
