Job Summary
Perform radiographic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and disease. Supervise X-Ray Technologist Staff.
Responsibilities
Perform full scope X-rays according to license.
Take and develop quality x-rays within scope of practice.
Practice patient shielding and ALARA standards.
Keep accurate log of exams performed.
Knowledge of radiologic standards, requirements and regulations.
Clean exam and X-ray table, bucky and room after each patient.
Advise Clinic Administrator if supplies are running low.
Knowledge of radiologic safety, cleanliness and infection control policies and regulations.
Follow guidelines and requirements of laboratory and clinical accreditation policies.
Maintain compliance with all established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
Treat patients and co-workers consistent with the AFC Mission statement, Vision, Values and Performance Standards.
Performs the essential functions as defined as by the appropriate Skills Competency Checklist and other related duties as assigned or described by company policy.
Follow set office protocol as directed by the Center Administrator and healthcare provider.
Qualifications
Education: High School diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited X-ray/M.A. program, and California Limited X-ray License in (Chest, Torso skeletal, and Extremities). Knowledge of radiologic safety, cleanliness and infection control policies and regulations
