    Athlon Advisors, a fast-growing financial advisory firm located in Columbia, MD, is seeking an Associate Advisor to join our growing team. Our firm focuses on our client's full financial picture and we take client service as our #1 priority and we are looking for someone with the same mindset to join us as a full-time Associate Advisor.     Salary & Benefits:

    • Starting salary of $70,000 to $90,000 per year, based on experience

    Client-Facing Responsibilities:

    • Assist advisors with meeting prep and follow up

    • Attend client meetings and take notes, moving towards leading client meetings, and eventually taking over certain client relationships

    • Respond to and execute on ad hoc client requests, assisting the client service team in resolving high level issues

    • Monitor incoming new client accounts and transfers

    • Assist in the maintenance of the firm document management system

    • Follow-up and document work as appropriate in our CRM (Redtail)

    • Attend and contribute to team meetings

    • Assist where needed – we are a small team, and we all wear multiple hats

    Requirements:

    • 2 years of experience as an advisor OR 5 years of experience in a client service position working with advisors and you would like to move up
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Experience with web-based CRM or other similar software
    • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn to navigate various web-based platforms
    • Positive, energetic, friendly, and service-oriented
    • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task
    • Ability to follow/interpret procedures and see tasks and projects through to completion

    Qualified candidates will start the process by having a 15-30 minute zoom interview conducted by our consultant (who is the hiring manager for this position). If there is ground to move forward, you will be required to fill out a Career History Form and if you are selected to advance in the process, you will meet with the firm. Qualified candidates may be asked to take assessments. A background and credit check will be required.
