The Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality training on PrimePay’s Payroll/HRIS system tailored to each client’s specific business requirements. This role ensures outstanding client support, facilitates training sessions, and contributes to continuous system improvement through feedback and collaboration with internal teams.

    Responsibilities:

    • Acquire and maintain knowledge of all PrimePay products and services, including updates and new applications
    • Conduct client training through webinars
    • Set proper expectations, define special training needs, and maintain training documentation in CRM systems
    • Maintain accurate records of training sessions, demos, and featured products
    • Collaborate with colleagues to manage and schedule client training sessions
    • Identify client-specific needs and communicate with Sales, Implementation, and Development teams to develop solutions
    • Provide phone, email, or webinar support for clients regarding procedural and technical payroll questions
    • Develop and maintain a professional and helpful rapport with clients
    • Escalate repeated or ongoing client issues to supervisors

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
    • 1-2 years of experience in payroll, teaching or training
    • Experience with payroll processing, payroll/HR applications, customer service or training experience
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent project management and customer service skills
    • Ability to manage stressful client interactions effectively
    • Strong problem resolution skills
    • Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure
    • Team player with a willingness to take on additional duties as assigned
    • Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook
    • Ability to handle confidential company and client information responsibly
    • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
    • Dependability with regular and prompt attendance and schedule flexibility as required
