    We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Lease Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of lease administration, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of commercial/retail property management and exceptional customer service skills.

    Responsibilities:

    Manage commercial real estate legal documents

    Review and abstract leases and other real estate documents

    Process and maintain all pertinent real estate data in the Company’s lease administration database

    Process real estate-related invoices including but not limited to rent, percentage rent, operating expenses and year-end operating expenses

    Conduct desktop audits to reconcile rent, common area maintenance, real estate tax, insurance, and other periodic and end-of-year expense adjustments

    Administer the Company’s third-party leased or subleased properties which includes reviewing documents, invoicing tenants, collecting lease income preparing annual cam reconciliations, issuing delinquent rent notices and unpaid balances

    Process reports for check runs and ACH payments as required

    Ensuring bills and rents are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures

    Deliver a high volume of transactional work with the highest accuracy and timeliness

    Investigate and resolve problems associated with processing invoices and payments

    Cure all Monetary and Non-Monetary Defaults and reconcile accounts

    Perform other duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    1 – 3 years of experience in commercial/retail real estate preferred

    Property Management experience is a plus

    Proficient with MS Excel; comfortable with MS Office

    Excellent verbal and written communication, and listening skills

    Exceptional customer service skills, organization skills, and a detail-oriented mindset

    Proactive and positive attitude with the ability to multi-task and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment with little to no supervision

    Ability to prioritize work effectively and complete assignments on time

    Desire and ability to identify problems and work to resolve them independently or with the team

    Sense of urgency and accountability to follow up on pending issues or outstanding requests

    Focus on accuracy/urgency with data entry

    Some accounting experience and proficiency with reconciliations, math, and calculations
