Job Summary:
As a Leasing Agent, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents and will play a key role in promoting our properties and facilitating the leasing process. You will be responsible for demonstrating properties, creating a welcoming environment for potential tenants, handling inquiries, and ultimately securing leases. The ideal candidate will be customer-oriented, persuasive, and possess strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet prospective tenants and provide comprehensive information about available properties.
- Conduct property tours and highlight key features to attract potential residents.
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person about leasing terms and property details.
- Assist applicants in completing leasing applications and screen applicants in accordance with company policies and fair housing regulations.
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required documents are completed and signed in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, property availability, and leasing activities in the CRM system.
- Coordinate and schedule property showings and open houses.
- Follow up with prospective tenants and maintain communication to close leases.
- Assist with marketing efforts, including creating listings, promoting properties on social media, and participating in community events.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the leasing process and ensure a positive experience for all prospective residents.
- Collaborate with the property management team to address tenant questions and concerns post-lease signing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in real estate, business, or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in leasing or sales, preferably in residential real estate.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of property management software is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Valid real estate license (if applicable based on state regulations).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
