Role Overview: As a Leasing Agent at SDRE Homebuyers, you will play a crucial role in managing property listings, conducting showings, and guiding potential tenants through the leasing process. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a strong sales background, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: • Property Tours: Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, showcasing available units and highlighting key amenities. • Leasing Process: Handle all aspects of the leasing process, including answering inquiries, processing applications, verifying tenant qualifications, and preparing lease agreements. • Marketing: Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to attract new tenants, including online listings, social media, and promotional events. • Tenant Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, maintenance requests, and concerns in a professional and timely manner. • Lease Renewals: Manage the lease renewal process, ensuring that all renewals are completed promptly and that retention strategies are implemented. • Documentation: Ensure that all leasing documentation is accurate and complete, including lease agreements, applications, and move-in/move-out inspections. • Market Research: Stay informed about current market conditions, rental rates, and competitor properties to ensure competitive pricing and occupancy levels. • Reporting: Provide regular reports to management on occupancy rates, leasing activity, and market trends. • Compliance: Ensure all leasing activities comply with applicable housing laws, fair housing regulations, and company policies. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Leasing Agent (2 years required). • Strong sales and negotiation skills. • AppFolio experience. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Knowledge of real estate leasing laws and regulations. • Proficient in property management software (e.g. AppFolio) and Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. • High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred. • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Compensation: $70,000 Salary Base + $500 Per Unit Leased
