What to Expect: This is a full-time role with a blend of structure and flexibility. It requires 40+ hours per week, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility to work into the evening or on weekends during busy times. The focus is on results rather than Facetime. • Off-Season (Sep-Dec): With a more moderate pace, you’ll have the freedom to manage your schedule and work location. We emphasize work-life integration and trust you to balance your time effectively while maintaining consistent responsibilities. We’re looking for a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. If you’re eager to grow and make an impact, we’d love to hear from you! The Details: Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 base salary commensurate with experience plus an opportunity to earn a generous bonus. You live within a 40-minute commute of 94704. You have daily access to a personal vehicle that you can drive for work-related tasks. You have a driver’s license, and you carry insurance. You know you are a self-starter because you prefer to “own” your job rather than having someone micromanage your daily tasks, and you are responsive, organized, and have strong attention to detail. Without being prompted, you recognize the goals are to maximize asset value, resident satisfaction, and revenue, and you enjoy doing your part to conquer them. Additionally, you are tech-savvy and use software applications that are available to you. You have the ability to interact with a wide variety of people, demonstrate empathy and patience, and enjoy delivering a concierge level of customer service - time and time again. You have strong verbal and written communication skills, understand the importance of discretion, have sound judgment, and have a reputation for being honest and transparent. Finally, you’re a team player who is happy to be helpful and is always willing to roll up your sleeves to help a co-worker. A Day In The Life Your mission is to provide a positive experience to residents, their parents, and your team! You will have a lot of latitude in managing your time and producing the desired results. You’ll do a little of everything, including but not limited to the following: Leasing and Marketing: • List and market student housing rental listings • Hold open houses during the week and sometimes on weekends for prospective tenants • Respond promptly to incoming leads • Look for creative ways to create additional leads • Execute rental agreements with residents and their parents • Ensure rents are collected in a timely manner, and deposits are returned to tenants in a timely manner. • Administrative support Resident Support: • Do basic triage before referring tenants to the maintenance team • Ensure residents feel heard and do your best to resolve tenant issues along with Resident Managers that arise occasionally. This is where your sound judgment naturally comes into play. Team Support: • Pitch in where necessary to support your teammates Additional Factor: From time to time, the company renovates existing property and adds to its portfolio. During the off-season , this is an opportunity for you to assist and be rewarded for your efforts on those projects. Qualifications: To Qualify • You have a college degree or equivalent working experience. • You must have incredible people skills and superior written and verbal communication skills and be a team player. • Previous experience in leasing and property management is not required. • Experience in other industries such as sales, restaurant/hospitality, customer service, and retail are encouraged to apply.
