The Leasing Consultant's primary responsibility is to close traffic (prospects) through application and lease executions. The Leasing Consultant is also responsible for making sure lease files are completed and accurate, maintaining a customer service-friendly and high-energy environment. The Leasing Consultant will also assist in other property and marketing operations as needed. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for embodying and working to reinforce Gray Residential's mission, values, culture, and goals.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED), and/or Bachelor's Degree
• At least two (2) years of sales (Multifamily Leasing Preferred)
• Experience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software (Preferred)
• History of exceptional customer service
• Ability to organize and direct oneself and effectively supervise
• Strong oral & written communication skills
• Solid understanding and skill set in Microsoft Office Suite & Adobe PDF
• Excellent organizational skills
• Experience working with legal documents and basic understanding of legal terminology is a plus
• Any certifications from the National Apartment Association is a plus
• Valid state-issued driver's license
• Ability to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Answer phone calls and emails, tour prospects, complete applications and leases, and gather all qualifying documents to finalize lease files.
• Ensure property management software is operating optimally and is up to date daily. Set appointments for prospects that want to tour the property.
• Assist in collecting monthly rents.
• Provide support in communicating efficiently and effectively with residents about delinquency, move-in and move-out processes, resident events, etc.
• Handle all customer service issues as they arise.
• Complete move-in and move-out inspections.
• Assist with marketing activities and resident/prospect events.
• Complete assigned training.
• Ensure hospitality and customer services at the property are at an exceptional level.
• Help with routine audits on all files for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain excellent curb appeal of the property.
• Aid in gathering market and prospect data.
• Assist in sending out renewal offers and communicating with residents about renewals.
• Strive to improve property reputation throughout the year.
• Comply with all federal and local laws, mandated regulations, and company-issued policies and procedures.
• Meet and exceed leasing goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
