Responsibilities: Leasing Consultant Responsibilities: • Respond promptly and professionally to incoming phone calls, emails, and other inquiries from prospective residents, delivering accurate, engaging, and sales-driven information. • Consistently follow up with leads in a timely and strategic manner to maintain a minimum lease conversion rate of 35% (leases per total tours). • Accurately track all prospective renters using the CRM system and generate daily and weekly leasing reports to monitor progress throughout the sales cycle. • Conduct property tours, answer questions, and effectively communicate the value and features of the community to potential residents. • Manage the leasing process from start to finish, including application reviews, credit checks, applicant screenings, and related documentation. • Prepare keys, lease materials, and required paperwork for both move-in and move-out procedures. • Stay informed about market trends by performing regular research on competitor pricing and availability. • Support daily office operations by handling administrative tasks such as answering phones, coordinating appointments, prepping for showings, and assisting the property manager with operational duties. • Understand prospective residents’ housing needs and financial expectations to match them with suitable units. • Negotiate lease terms and close deals with prospective residents confidently and professionally. • Verify rental application details and conduct thorough reference checks. Scheduling Expectations: • Employees are expected to work five days per week, as scheduled by their supervisor. Qualifications: • 1–2 years of leasing experience preferred. • Demonstrated initiative and a strong drive to succeed in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new software systems and internal processes efficiently. • Experience with Onesite is a plus, but not required. • Proven track record of success in sales, with a focus on meeting or exceeding targets. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Publisher. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
