  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    The Leasing Consultant facilitates the rental of apartment units to ensure maximum occupancy at all times. Coordinates move-ins and move-outs, lease negotiations and renewals, and apartment showings.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Assist prospective residents with leasing inquiries and property tours

    • Process rental applications and lease agreements.

    • Maintain positive relationships with residents and ensure high customer satisfaction.

    • Collaborate with the property management team to meet leasing goals

    • Market available units through online listings, social media, and community outreach

    • Represents Village Green at various outside networking & social functions

    • Problem-solving skills

    • What We’re Looking For:

    • Strong sales and customer service skills

    • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

    • Previous leasing or real estate experience is preferred but not required

    • Proficiency in property management software is a plus

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Experience & Strengths you'll need:

    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma required.
    • Restaurant/Hospitality or direct Multi-family Industry experience (1-2 years preferred)
    • Strong administrative and organization skills; this role is directly responsible for lease administration onsite and requires a thorough attention to detail
    • Strong computer proficiency: direct experience with Yardi or Onesite is preferred
    • An excellent attitude and willingness to learn and, more than anything, a resolve to provide prompt and friendly service

    This position makes use of onsite golf carts for purposes of property tours and inspections. The identified candidate is required to provide proof of a valid Driver's License in good standing for consideration of hire.
