We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team. You’ll work with the team to prepare a variety of legal documents, and handle office correspondence like answering emails and phone calls, scheduling meetings, and reminding the team of upcoming deadlines. Responsibilities: • Manage attorney's calendar, including scheduling consultations, hearings, and appointments. • Draft correspondence to clients, city/county offices, courts, and more • Open and maintain case files. • Assist with the preparation and filing of legal documents. • Communicate with new and existing clients and court personnel in a professional manner. • Data entry. • Help with creating a variety of litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, affidavits, estate planning documents, and proofread documents when necessary Qualifications: • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with quick turnaround times • Candidates should have strong organizational skills and communication skills • Proficient with MS Office products • Some college is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required • Proficient with Adobe Acrobat software and PDF files Compensation: $18 - $24 hourly
