Responsibilities: • Manage the court calendar for Criminal Law cases efficiently. • Reschedule court dates when there are scheduling conflicts. • Handle incoming calls, direct them appropriately, and take messages as needed. • Notify clients promptly about any changes in their court dates. • Establish new client files and act as a link between Intake and Litigation departments. • Contact courts to gather necessary case information. • Obtain discovery materials as required. • Coordinate phone and in-person meetings between clients and their attorneys. • E-File and submit motions in District and Circuit Courts. • Prepare and submit driver's license Hardship Appeals in Circuit Court. • Assist clients in obtaining Substance Use Assessments as necessary. • Facilitate client referrals for drug testing, educational programs, and interlock services. • Organize DAAD file setups and handle interlock violation hearing requests. • File requests for implied consent hearings with the SOS. • Draft and file various motions related to counsel withdrawal, travel, and probation. • Maintain organized case files using digital document management software. • Scan and store all client documents accurately.
