Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide administrative support to both clients and the supervisory unit, being a link between them. Collects the documents necessary to prepare a legal case, performs basic administrative tasks, organizes, analyzes, investigates and keeps updated the documents and evidence required to document each case, guaranteeing its completeness, coherence and order. Form a work team with the client to develop the process in each of its stages, actingg under the strict parameters and processes designed by our firm. The ideal candidate is hardworking and detail-oriented.
Responsibilities
Communicate with clients and keep the interaction with them.
Assist and guide assigned clients, according to their particular needs, adapting them to each of the stages of their inmigration process
Prepare case-specific documents.
Ensure that case-related documents are well organized and available for review.
Maintain and update documentation
Provide general administrative support and other related tasks.
Qualifications
Bachelor or student about legal field (not limited).
Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role is preferred
Familiarity with legal procedures, terminology, and the court system (not limited)
Verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized with document management experience is preferred
Excellent research skills
Comfortable Microsoft Office.
Ability to multitask and work well under some pressure
Hardworking, responsible and detail-oriented.
Fluent in english - spanish is preferred. Spanish is required.
