Legal Assistant - Bilingual (English/Spanish) Frankl Kominsky Injury Lawyers is seeking a Bilingual Legal Assistant. We are looking for candidates who want to establish their career at a highly reputable law firm while contributing to the growth of the firm! Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments is strongly preferred as well as a desire to work in a collaborative, team environment. This is an ideal position for a motivated, organized, detailed and hard-working individual. The Legal Assistant must demonstrate that they possess the ability to meet deadlines, be effective and efficient. Responsibilities: • Provide clear and concise communication to a multitude of parties including clients, attorneys, medical providers and insurance companies. • Maintain attorney’s calendars. • Ensure deadlines are met. • Schedule and confirm appointments, recorded statements, IMEs and EUOs. • Follow up and request all documents in regard to client’s cases including but not limited to insurance information, police reports, medical records and bills. • Provide support to case manager and attorney while managing a caseload. • Prepare demands and draft legal documents. Qualifications: • The Legal Assistant position is an entry-level position and legal experience is not required. • Minimum of one year of customer service or office work experience or demonstrated interest in the law. • The Legal Assistant must have a high school degree. • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • Must have a positive attitude and be computer savvy. • Strong multi-tasking ability. • Must be innovative, self-starter, and goal-oriented. • Candidate should be able to manage deadlines; ability to follow up and be detail oriented. • Ability to work in a fast-paced evolving environment as part of a team. • Bilingual – English/Spanish Compensation: $17 - $18 hourly
