We are a growing law firm looking for an experienced legal assistant who can help busy attorneys and paralegals assist our estate and elder care planning clients by keeping the office running smoothly. You’ll work with the team to prepare a variety of legal documents, and handle office correspondence like answering emails and phone calls, scheduling meetings, and tracking upcoming deadlines. Qualifications: • Excellent attention to detail and proper grammar may be the most important attributes. • Organizational skills and communication skills are necessary for this position • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate’s degree is a plus • Must be able to type at least 50 WPM • Some knowledge of legal software, case management, and docketing programs • 1-2 years of prior experience in a law firm environment as a secretary or administrative assistant • Must be able to prioritize tasks with demanding deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment Compensation: $18 - $22 hourly
