Legal Assistant - Client Care Coordinator

Responsibilities: • Provide empathetic and clear communication with clients, ensuring they feel cared for, important to the firm, and informed of case status at all times. • Handle administrative tasks such as responding to emails, texts, and website inquiries in coordination with other team members. • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and ensure documents are completed on time. • Schedule client meetings, collaborative sessions, court appearances, and hearings. • Manage electronic case files, ensuring accuracy and security, while maintaining up-to-date file notes. • Collaborate closely with the legal team to ensure smooth matter management and coordination. • Assist attorneys in drafting legal documents such as petitions, motions, and affidavits, and subpoenas and coordinate process servers. • Support our family lawyers in trial preparation by organizing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, filing motions, and assisting with client meetings. • Provide administrative support to the firm’s owner. • Contribute to team meetings and participate in social gatherings. Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience as an assistant, preferably in the legal field. Family law experience preferred. • High-level organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all tasks and interactions. • A genuine passion for helping clients through emotionally sensitive situations. • A positive, team-oriented attitude—we want someone we look forward to seeing every day! (We try to be those people too.) Compensation: $20 - $24 hourly
