    The Legal Assistant at DYADlaw P.C. plays a critical role in supporting the legal team by handling a wide range of tasks related to U.S. immigration cases. This position requires a meticulous and organized individual who can manage multiple case files efficiently while providing excellent service and support to clients and attorneys. Responsibilities: • Assist attorneys in the preparation and filing of various immigration forms and documents. • Manage case files from initiation to completion, ensuring all deadlines are met. • Prepare legal correspondence, including letters to clients and government agencies. • Collect, organize, and review client information and documents to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Process FOIA requests and manage responses, working with the legal team to address issues or updates to the procedures and requirements. • Assist in the collection and organization of evidence for case filings. • Maintain an up-to-date and organized filing system for all legal documents. • Communicate regularly with clients to gather information, convey case updates, and address inquiries. • Ultizing the case tracking systems and databases. • Handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion. • Prepare and process Responses to Evidence (RFEs) as requested by immigration authorities. • Coordinate with clients to gather necessary documentation and information in response to RFEs. • Assemble case files and prepare them for review by the legal team. • Conduct quality assurance checks on all case materials to ensure accuracy and completeness before submission. Qualifications: • In-Office Preference : We prefer the legal team to be onsite to interact directly with the team and clients. • Remote Opportunities : Remote work arrangements are available and will be considered based on the applicant's location and ability to maintain productivity and communication standards remotely. • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish. • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field. • At least 1-3 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal, preferably in an immigration law firm. • Familiarity with immigration procedures and legal terminology is highly advantageous. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and immigration case management software. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. Compensation: $61,500 - $70,700 yearly
