    We are looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to help the busy attorneys and paralegals at our law office. You’ll be responsible for managing office correspondence, including answering phone calls and emails, arranging meetings, and ensuring our legal team is aware of upcoming deadlines. You’ll also assist with preparing legal documents and contracts and perform any other tasks as needed to ensure our firm is operating efficiently. Responsibilities: • Complete legal research as needed under the supervision of attorneys and paralegals • Undertake other duties as needed to ensure the firm operates efficiently • Manage office correspondence and administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, communicating with opposing attorney offices, taking dictation, responding to emails, and reminding the team of upcoming deadlines • Ensure client billing is processed properly using daily time records with assistance from the accounting department • Schedule meetings and appointments for the team, such as signings, and coordinate with outside vendors for events • Draft Simple Wills and Powers of Attorney Qualifications: • Ability to comfortably use all Microsoft Office products • Candidates should have strong organizational skills and communication skills • Able to meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment Compensation: $18 - $22 hourly
