Responsibilities: • Assist the settlement case manager with managing cases in settlement status and conducting necessary follow-up work. • Follow up appropriately with medical providers and submit requests for missing documents. • Draft, organize, and file documents while coordinating, collecting, reviewing, and producing necessary paperwork. • Enter case costs and send out checks as required. • Handle phone calls, respond to emails, and perform data entry tasks efficiently. • Close files upon completion of disbursements. Qualifications: • Previous experience in medical billing is advantageous. • Experience in negotiating with medical providers and lien holders is beneficial. • A minimum of one year of office work experience or a demonstrated interest in the law is required. • Strong ability to multitask effectively is essential. • Must be punctual and reliable. Compensation: $17 hourly
