    We’re seeking a sharp personal injury Legal Assistant for our busy law firm who can help our attorneys, paralegals, and case managers assist our clients and keep the office running smoothly. If you’re an excellent multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities: • Accept other administrative tasks as needed to assist the team and ensure the firm runs smoothly • Gather and analyze intake information and documents with new files and enter relevant information into case management software • Set up claims and verify coverage with insurance companies and maintain communication with adjusters regarding case status • Requesting medical records and bills and confirming medical balances • Requesting accident reports • Maintaining client files, including adding medical records, bills, and other pertinent documents and updating case management software • Request and update subrogation liens Qualifications: • Applicants must have excellent communication skills and organizational skills • 1-2 years of prior experience in a law firm environment as a secretary or administrative assistant • Some knowledge of legal software, case management, and docketing programs • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with quick turnaround times • Proficient with MS Office products • Ability to multitask and stay self-motivated • Personal Injury experience is strongly preferred
