    Our busy legal firm is looking for an efficient, organized legal assistant to help our attorneys and paralegals assist clients and ensure we’re operating efficiently. You’ll assist with the preparation of legal documents, with specific attention to reviewing and correcting drafting errors before submitting to clients. You'll also maintain the drafting schedule to ensure that the firm complies with the established drafting schedule for each client. You'll be involved in the signing of the clients' documents and preparing the signed documents for delivery to the client within 10 days of signing. Responsibilities: • Be willing to take on any other necessary administrative tasks to help the firm run smoothly • On board with new estate planning clients. • Set drafting schedule for each client. • Review the client's role and requirements in the estate planning process, and set the expectations for client compliance. • Explain to the clients their intake materials • Schedule client meetings to go through the estate planning process. • Open and maintain clients' physical files • Review and correct drafted estate planning documents prior to removing the client • Navigate the files through the estate planning process • Deliver the finished estate planning documents to the clients, and review the Trust funding recommendations Qualifications: • Some knowledge of legal software, case management, and docketing programs • Proficient with MS Office products • Must be able to prioritize tasks with demanding deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment • Candidates should be able to type at least 50 words per minute • High school diploma or equivalent is required; associate’s degree is a plus Compensation: $19.50 - $21 hourly
