Important Notes: • This is an in-person position • Attorneys should not apply for this position • Professional references and a background check are required Responsibilities: Your role will combine front desk management with legal assistant duties, including: Front Desk Duties: • Warmly greeting clients and ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable • Managing incoming and outgoing calls professionally • Maintaining a clean and organized reception area and setting up the conference room for clients • Coordinating client meetings and managing the firm owner's calendar • Processing incoming and outgoing mail Legal Assistant Duties: • Drafting basic documents with high attention to detail • Managing and organizing firm files through our cloud-based systems • Processing e-filings for the Florida court system • Supporting the firm owner in day-to-day legal operations Qualifications: • Legal assistant or paralegal experience required, with estate planning or probate experience strongly preferred • Professional phone manner and strong interpersonal skills, particularly in working with senior clients • Strong technical proficiency including 70+ WPM typing speed and experience with legal software (Clio, WealthCounsel, Florida e-filing system) and standard office applications (Microsoft Office, GSuite, Dropbox) • Exceptional organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy • Proactive problem-solver who can research solutions and present well-thought-out recommendations • Reliable team player with consistent attendance and a helpful attitude • Quick learner who adapts well to new processes and technology and can take initiative to learn when you don't know how to do something Compensation: $19.50 - $22.50 hourly
