A large law firm is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Billing Manager to oversee and guide its billing operations. This role is ideal for someone who combines leadership experience with a strong understanding of legal billing processes.
Our client has offices across the country and this role can sit at any location. Office locations include Atlanta, Charlotte, Houston, Nashville, Orlando, Washington, DC, and more. The work schedule will primarily be remote with occasional in-office days every month The firm offers full benefits and competitive salary ranges.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support the billing team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Evaluate workflows, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions
Train team members and users on billing systems and procedures
Monitor billing progress and performance metrics
Provide hands-on support with bill prep, write-offs, and rate management
Qualifications:
7+ years of billing management experience in a law firm setting
Experience managing mid-large sized teams
Strong knowledge of legal billing systems (Aderant a plus)
Proficiency in Excel and data analysis
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
