Responsibilities: The Criminal Defense Case Manager will play a vital role in managing the lifecycle of multiple criminal defense cases. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess a deep understanding of criminal law procedures, and be adept at managing client relations under stressful circumstances. Responsibilities: • Oversee the day-to-day management of criminal case files from initial intake through to trial or settlement. • Schedule and manage deadlines for court appearances, filing deadlines, and preparation meetings. • Liaise with defense attorneys, law enforcement, witnesses, and external consultants to coordinate case activities effectively. • Organize and maintain case documentation, including discovery materials, legal filings, and correspondence. • Facilitate client meetings and assist in the preparation for court appearances. • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards governing criminal defense work. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Paralegal Studies, or a related field preferred. • Experience in courthouse / docketing for a judge considered ideal. • At least 5 years of experience in case management, ideally in a criminal defense setting. • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, court personnel, and legal professionals. • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail. • Proficiency in legal case management software, Microsoft Office Suite and other technologies. • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Compensation: $70,000
