  • Responsibilities

    About the Job:

    We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join our team in Boston, supporting commercial contracting. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to draft, negotiate, and review software licensing agreements, services contracts, NDAs, and partner agreements. This role is ideal for a business-oriented legal professional who enjoys working in a global environment and is eager to drive process improvements.

    You will:

    • Manage commercial contracting, including software licensing, services agreements, and NDAs.
    • Provide legal guidance to internal teams on commercial contracts and compliance.
    • Collaborate with finance, product, and other teams on legal matters.
    • Assist in developing and updating policies and agreements.
    • Support other legal functions and international regions as needed.

    About You :

    • 3–8 years of legal experience, with at least 2 years in transactional work (sales or vendor-side).
    • Active bar admission in a relevant U.S. state.
    • Experience in software industry transactions or at a multinational company (preferred).
    • Strong ability to collaborate with global teams across time zones.
    • Proactive problem-solver with a business-first mindset and a drive for efficiency.
    • Ability to grasp technical concepts and provide practical legal solutions.

    Beneficial skills:

    • Additional legal expertise in employment, compliance, or regulatory matters.
    • Foreign language skills and CIPP-US certification.
    • Interest in open-source licensing, compliance, or product-related legal work.
