In this role, you’ll support our attorneys and paralegals ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Your responsibilities will include preparing legal documents, managing case files, handling communications—such as phone calls, emails, and meetings—and ensuring our calendar and deadlines are meticulously maintained. Position Details: • Full-time position • 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday • On-site work only—no remote option • Full health benefits (Medical, Vision & Dental) • 401k plan • Paid holidays and vacation Responsibilities: • Work with attorneys and paralegals to create various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, affidavits, contracts, and briefs for case preparation, and proofread documents when requested • Accept other administrative tasks as needed to assist the team and ensure the firm runs smoothly • Take care of administrative tasks and office correspondence by answering phone calls and emails, communicating with opposing attorney offices, taking dictation, and informing the team of upcoming deadlines • Arrange travel, schedule meetings and appointments for the team, such as depositions, and coordinate with outside vendors for events Qualifications: • Ability to comfortably use all Microsoft Office products • Must be able to prioritize tasks with demanding deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment • Candidates must have worked with legal software, case management, and docketing programs • Some college is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a law firm or office environment as an administrative assistant or secretary • Organizational skills and communication skills are necessary for this position Compensation: $25,000 yearly
