You’ll serve as the compassionate voice of our law firm, fielding inbound calls from prospective clients in their time of need, screening, and surveying for potential cases, and helping our lawyers manage their meetings. Responsibilities: • Conduct initial client intakes in both Spanish and English via phone and in person. • Gather and document client information accurately and efficiently. • Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing their questions and concerns. • Collaborate with legal staff to ensure smooth case transitions. • Participate in training and mentorship programs to develop supervisory skills. • Supervise new client onboarding and current client files through data entry and paperwork collection to ensure our cases are managed efficiently. • Handle all client information with discretion, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards. • Assist in preparing and organizing initial case files and supporting documentation. • Provide clients with basic information about the legal process, procedures, and their rights to ensure they feel informed and supported. • Work closely with attorneys and legal staff to ensure seamless communication and case handling. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree. • 2 years of experience in an intake role, preferably in a personal injury firm or similar environment. • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages. • Previous experience as a legal assistant with phone client contact is welcome, with 1-2 years of experience. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Solid data entry, spreadsheet management, and computer skills • Possesses outstanding communication skills and a sense of empathy. Compensation: $25 - $27 hourly
