    The Intake Case Manager plays a pivotal role in our personal injury law firm by serving as the initial point of contact and first voice for potential clients seeking legal representation. This individual is responsible for efficiently and empathetically guiding clients through the initial stages of their injury case, collecting essential information, and ensuring a smooth transition to our case management system, and then to the legal team. The Intake Case Manager is a critical bridge between the firm and new clients, contributing to the overall success of client acquisition and retention. This is overall a sales position and this candidate will need to have special people skills to be successful. Responsibilities: • Organize paperwork and perform data entry in our case management system to streamline new client onboarding and current client files • Book consultations for prospective clients with our lawyers to expand our caseload and ensure meeting schedules are accurate • Survey potential clients to determine the right fit with our practice, while listening to all phone calls in an empathetic manner Client Interaction: • Serve as the first point of contact for individuals seeking legal assistance due to personal injuries • Conduct thorough and compassionate interviews to gather essential information about potential cases • Establish rapport with clients to build trust and confidence in the firm's services • Answer emails and collect information Case Evaluation: • Evaluate the viability of potential cases based on established criteria • Gather relevant details regarding the incident, injuries, and other pertinent information to determine the merit of the case • Clearly communicate the firm's assessment and recommendations to potential clients Documentation and Record Keeping: • Accurately record and maintain detailed information on potential clients and their cases in the firm's case management system • Ensure all required documentation is complete and organized for seamless handover to the legal team. Letters and communications from this office are critical to the beginning of a legal case Coordination with Legal Team: • Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to provide a comprehensive overview of potential cases • Facilitate smooth transitions of cases from the intake stage to the legal team, ensuring all necessary information is conveyed Client Education: • Educate potential clients on the legal process, the firm's services, and what to expect during their case • Answer basic legal questions and address concerns to enhance client understanding and satisfaction Follow-Up: • Conduct follow-up communication with potential clients to address additional questions and gather any outstanding information • Maintain a record of follow-up interactions and update case statuses accordingly Qualifications: • Strong computer and data entry skills • CRM and case management software experience a plus • Skilled with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel • Previous legal experience a plus • Sales or customer service experience highly valued • Empathy and sensitivity when dealing with clients who may be experiencing challenging situations • Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage case information effectively • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment • Must have Personal Injury legal experience Compensation: $43,000 yearly
