Job Type: Full-time, onsite • Education: Associate (Required)Job Location: Boca Raton, FL (Required) Responsibilities: • Screen and conduct intake of new potential medical malpractice cases • Order, review, organize, and summarize medical records, prepare chronologies and timelines, analyze case merit and identify standard of care, causation, and damage issues • Research, identify, interview, and communicate with expert witnesses • Conduct medical and legal research • Draft letters and e-mails • Draft pre-suit documents including Notice of Intent, Expert Affidavits, Informal Discovery, Responses to Informal Discovery, • Draft litigation documents including pleadings, discovery, discovery responses, subpoenas, deposition notices, orders, exhibit lists, expert and witness lists, etc., under the supervision of a lawyer • Assist lawyers with preparation for depositions, mediation, and trial Qualifications: • Registered Nurse (RN) License • CLNC and/or LNCC • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skills • Proficient with computers, software, and programs including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), Adobe, Dropbox, etc. • Experience with Filevine preferred. Will train. • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 yearly
