Qualifications
What you'll get to do:
- Manage and administer legal technology platforms and outside vendors, including those related to ethics hotline, policy compliance and training, board portal, data rooms, matter management, litigation holds, e-signature, knowledge management and legal team workspaces.
- Implement the design, optimization and maintenance of systems, processes, procedures and forms for operations management of the legal, risk management and compliance teams, working closely with Vuori’s legal leadership.
- Manage Legal department budgeting, forecasting, reporting and accruals, while serving as primary liaison with the finance team and partnering with Vuori’s outside counsel to optimize legal spending.
- Support Vuori’s Contracts Manager and commercial contracts team with use and administration of contract lifecycle management tools and processes.
- Help establish, manage and operationalize tracking of regulatory and compliance developments.
- Support and manage special projects and various workstreams for legal department, including by tracking milestones, deadlines and following up with cross-functional stakeholders, to improve organization, proactivity, project management and cross-functional communication with business partners.
- Develop, track and report on departmental KPIs and leverage data to provide insight into legal operations and better inform decision-making.
- Support the legal and risk management team on day to day operational and administrative tasks and the efforts to evolve the legal operations function as Vuori grows and scales.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and 5+ years legal experience, including experience managing legal operations, preferably a combination of law firm (corporate) and in-house
- Paralegal certificate, formal training or credentials in legal operations preferred
- Knowledge of legal operations standard procedures and industry best practices
- Experience implementing, using and managing technology processes, procedures, and programs utilized by in-house legal departments (e.g. tools like DocuSign, Exterro, Evisort (CLM), Cap Table Software, Board Portals and/or Ethics Hotlines)
- Strong technological skillset with advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint and Teams
- Experience in a fast paced, high growth, constantly changing and entrepreneurial culture
- Capable of defining and executing a process or solution from start to finish with a proven ability to handle multiple projects at the same time effectively and efficiently
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective, professional and collaborative relationships amongst diverse internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Independent, self-motivated, and enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and professionalism with respect to handling confidential legal matters

The salary range for this role is $123,000 per year - $148,000 per year.
