    Jardim Meisner Salmon Sprague & Susser, P.C. is seeking a motivated and experienced Junior Partner with a solid book of business, approximately $300,000, to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in tax, estate planning and administration, and small business law. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage a diverse caseload, provide high-quality legal services, and contribute to the growth of our firm. Responsibilities: • Provide legal counsel on a variety of tax issues, focusing primarily on income tax matters. • Collaborate closely with clients to devise tax strategies and ensure adherence to federal and state tax regulations. • Preferred experience in income tax, though not obligatory. • Manage all facets of estate planning and administration, encompassing the establishment and supervision of trusts. • Advise clients on estate tax concerns and implement strategies to reduce estate tax liabilities. • Administer estates and trusts, guaranteeing compliance with legal and tax duties. • Aid clients in establishing corporations, partnerships, and LLCs. • Draft and assess agreements between business owners, such as operating agreements and buy/sell agreements. • Offer legal assistance to small businesses during their operations and in purchase/sale transactions. • Represent businesses in legal matters throughout their lifecycle to safeguard their interests. • Supervise corporate and estate litigation cases. • Provide litigation assistance as required, with a focus on representing clients effectively in court. • Collaborate with senior partners to ensure clients receive competent representation. Qualifications: • The candidate must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. • Admission to the NJ State Bar and being in good standing are required qualifications. • A book of business valued at approximately $300,000 is essential. • Strong expertise in tax, estate planning, and administration, as well as small business law, is a must. • Demonstrated ability to handle and expand a diverse caseload with minimal supervision is necessary. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required. • Strong attention to detail and the capability to work effectively under pressure are important qualities. Compensation: $100,000 - $200,000 yearly
