Job Description
Foster Garvey PC is seeking a Legal Project Coordinator to join our law firm. Candidates living in Seattle or Spokane, WA, Portland, OR, New York, NY, or Washington, D.C. areas will be considered and are welcome to apply.

Additionally, a successful candidate will have a strong commitment to client service, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills. The ability to organize, prioritize, and complete numerous tasks under time constraints is essential.
This is a full-time non-exempt position, Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be necessary to accommodate client needs. After the first 90 days, which requires 5 days a week in the office for training, the employee is eligible to work in a hybrid environment based on performance.
Responsibilities
• Work with attorneys, paralegals, and staff (across all offices) on high-volume matters to meet client service expectations and address opportunities to enable excellent, fast, and reliable services.
• Work with attorneys, paralegals, and staff (across all offices) managing (and tracking) both formal and informal project deadlines.
• Review contracts to ensure proper dating and execution by all parties.
• Calendar deadlines relating to contract and termination/renewals.
• Establish clear ownership for ongoing follow-up with clients to meet both formal and informal project deadlines.
• Organize and file many document drafts and contracts in to document management system.
• Utilize software like Workshare Compare to analyze documents from opposing parties to help support attorneys’ workload.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to establish project timelines that are communicated to the client. Negotiate alternative project timeline with the client as necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.
• Oversee and maintain upkeep of matter management sites.
• Handle miscellaneous tasks as needed, such as drafting client-facing documents for estimated attorneys’ fees, tracking billing fees, maintaining mailing list, and other clerical tasks.
Skills
• Broad computer knowledge, skills and proficiency with Windows Operating System, Word Processing, Spreadsheets (Excel), Internet (Chrome and Firefox), iManage (or related document management system), Asana (or other project management software), and other compatible and related software.
• Prior experience with corporate, commercial, and other transactional matters is preferred.
• Prior experience with Asana software is preferred.
• Ability to effectively and accurately present information and respond to questions from attorneys, paralegals, clients, and other staff.
• Ability to prioritize issues and workload as well as anticipate projects that need to be done.
• Highly organized.
• Commitment to excellent client service – responsive and communicative with all internal clients within the firm and external clients and adverse parties.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships and appropriately interact with others, while maintaining an upbeat, team-oriented personality.
• Commitment to observe attorney-client confidentiality.
• Ability to manage a high volume of email traffic from at least 10 attorneys.
Education
• 2+ years’ experience in an office setting, legal or professional services firm is preferred.
• High School Diploma is required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Salary Range
The pay range for this position is $50,000-$70,000 annually; however, actual pay may vary depending on the candidate’s education, training, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law. The actual salary may also vary depending on office location.
