    Del Sol Furniture is looking for experienced collections recovery specialist to join our team!

    At Del Sol Furniture, we’re proud to be a local, family-owned furniture business serving the Phoenix area since 1997. We currently have 4 beautiful showrooms, and we’re big enough to compete against the “big box stores” yet small enough to provide that white glove service that customers demand and expect in Phoenix!

    We are one of the few furniture stores that provide credit directly to our customers to help them furnish their homes.

    As a Legal Recovery Specialist, you are responsible for overseeing the recovery process of delinquent installment lending contracts through small claims court. This role involves managing legal proceedings, coordinating with legal teams, developing strategies for effective recoveries, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Lead and manage the legal recovery team to achieve optimal recovery results through small claims court processes.

    Develop and execute recovery strategies for delinquent accounts, ensuring timely action and adherence to company policies and legal requirements.

    Represent the company in small claims court proceedings, either personally or through appointed legal representatives.

    Prepare and review all necessary court documents, such as filings, claims, and evidence submissions, for accuracy and completeness.

    Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary and maintain professional relationships with court personnel.

    Monitor case progress, prepare regular updates and reports on recovery outcomes, and adjust strategies as needed.

    Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to debt collection and lending practices.

    Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance recovery rates and reduce legal expenses.

    Train and guide staff on proper case handling, documentation practices, and compliance issues.

    Stay informed about changes in relevant laws, industry best practices, and competitor recovery strategies.

    This is an in office position in Central Phoenix.

    Full Time

    $48k to $60k Salary with opportunity for bonuses

    Flexible Schedule

    8 Hour or 10 hour shifts

    Monday to Friday

    Position Qualifications:

    Must be Bilingual - English / Spanish

    Must be 18 years old

    Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in collections, legal recoveries or related field

    Strong communication skills over the phone required

    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

    Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

    Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

    High School Diploma or equivalent
