This role focuses on strategic networking and relationship building, with the additional capability to assist in retaining new clients when needed. The position maintains the highest standards of professional ethics while driving firm growth through relationship development and client service. What You’ll Do: • Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners, legal professionals, and potential clients. • Represent Truce Law at networking events, conferences, and community gatherings (yes, sometimes over dinner or at a Mariners game). • Develop creative strategies to expand our client base and strengthen existing partnerships. • Support efforts to retain new clients, ensuring they feel welcomed and well-served. • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics while driving firm growth. Essential Duties: • Identify and engage potential referral partners in relevant industries including law firms, financial advisors, mental health professionals, and other complementary service providers • Execute strategic plans for building and maintaining referral relationships • Create and deliver compelling presentations about firm services to potential partners • Represent the firm at networking events, conferences, and industry meetups • Organize and host educational events and networking opportunities for partners • Track and analyze partnership performance metrics using CRM systems • Maintain detailed records of all partner interactions and referral outcomes • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handling of referrals • Provide regular reports on partnership development activities and outcomes • Stay current on industry trends and competitive landscape • Meet with Potential New Clients via phone, video conference, or in-person to discuss firm services, while helping them understand available services and solutions • Follow established procedures for effective PNC communication • Maintain follow-up communication with prospective clients • Engage with potential clients encountered during networking events Qualifications: Required Qualifications: • 1+ years of business development or relationship management experience • 1+ years of consultative sales experience, preferably in professional services • Proven track record in building and maintaining professional relationships • Strong presentation and public speaking abilities • Excellence in written and verbal communication • Experience with CRM systems and performance tracking • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in the legal industry or professional services • Knowledge of Washington State legal community • Event planning experience • Professional networking certification • Knowledge of legal ethics and referral regulations • Experience in consultative sales of high-value services Technical Skills Required: • CRM software proficiency • Google Suite • Presentation software • Social media platforms for professional networking Work Conditions & Physical Demands: Work is performed both in-office and at external locations. The position requires local travel to networking events, partner locations, and potential client meetings. Some evening and weekend availability is required for networking events and client meetings. Must be able to transport marketing materials and setup for presentations. Compensation: $42,000 base + bonus
