  • Responsibilities

    As a member of the Client Service Team (CST), the Client Service Specialist (CSS) provides legal administrative support to a team of attorneys, utilizing specialized knowledge to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment. The CSS ensures superior client service by managing attorney calendars, preparing legal documents, and coordinating client interactions. This role also involves collaborating with internal teams to maintain case files and meet critical deadlines.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Answer and screen calls, providing excellent client service
    • Assist attorneys with document preparation, including legal correspondence, memoranda, and filings
    • Manage attorney schedules and coordinate travel arrangements
    • Create, edit, and proofread documents with accuracy
    • Ensure compliance with court filing procedures
    • Maintain client case files, and handle new and closed matters
    • Collaborate with legal teams to complete tasks and meet deadlines

     

    Compensation:

    • The compensation for this role ranges from $65,000 to $85,000. Factors like experience, education, and location can impact where an individual will fall within the range.

    Work Expectations & Schedule:

    Candidate Parameters:

    • Minimum of 7 years of legal administrative experience
    • Strong experience in New York state and local court filing procedures
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
