A well-established Trusts & Estates team is seeking a Client Service Specialist (CSS) to provide high-level administrative and legal support to attorneys. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and values client service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, screening calls, and scheduling meetings.
- Assist attorneys, paralegals, and clients to ensure seamless information management and workflow.
- Handle document preparation, formatting, and proofing with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage attorney calendars, tax-related deadlines, and client travel arrangements.
- Facilitate new business intake, including matter openings, conflict reviews, and maintaining client files.
- Coordinate electronic filings and court submissions as needed.
- Work proactively with legal team assistants and internal resources to complete tasks efficiently.
- Maintain strict confidentiality while upholding firm policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree preferred; Bachelor’s Degree a plus.
- 3+ years of legal administrative experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Trusts & Estates experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Typing speed of 60 WPM or higher.
- Familiarity with court filings, tax deadlines, and administrative procedures.
