In this role, you will be integral in supporting our attorneys and paralegals by greeting clients, preparing legal documents, managing office correspondence, and handling calendaring tasks. Responsibilities: • Be an essential part of a team dedicated to making a positive impact on clients’ lives • Exhibit energy, happiness, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and take direction well • Be comfortable with technology and computer literate • Greet clients and maintain the lobby and conference room areas • Answer phone calls, create messages, and manage the phone message board • Process and review incoming mail and documents • Calendar important dates and deadlines meticulously • Manage electronic and physical case files daily • Log case expenses in Case Management software • Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to prepare transmittals of legal documents such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, affidavits, contracts, and briefs • Tackle various administrative tasks to ensure smooth firm operations Qualifications: • Ability to come to an inviting law office every working day • High School diploma or equivalent is necessary • 1 year of prior experience in an office environment as an administrative assistant • Advanced computer literacy, including familiarity with standard office software • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills • Exceptional organizational and project management skills • Profoundly detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in all endeavors • Ability to prioritize multiple projects • Exemplary professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information • Adaptability in handling diverse tasks and responsibilities • Ability to work independently as well as being a dedicated team member • You understand change and can adapt quickly to it • You feel an urgency to complete your To-Do list • You want your talents and work ethic to make a difference • You do not think scanning and copying are "beneath you" Compensation: $34,000 - $42,000 yearly
