Legarza Sports is seeking a summer office intern who has excellent communication skills and is incredibly detail-oriented to provide administrative leadership for our fast-growing company.The Legarza team is looking for a self-starter with a desire to be a part of a highly effective team, who is willing to go the extra mile in order to ensure success. As we continue to expand, we need a quality person who believes in our values and has the skills to implement, manage, and grow an extraordinary youth sports program.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:- Fielding phone calls, emails and in person requests from customers, vendors and applicants - Processing camp registrations- On site support to ensure camps run smoothly- Managing Social Media- Assist with staffing for programs- Organizing and Analyzing program data collected- Creating and Scheduling marketing correspondence- Provide organizational and communication support for weekly camp scheduling- Weekly marketing communications- Providing bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and HR support - Managing incoming and outgoing mail- Maintaining office inventory and supplies- Maintaining a clean and organized office place- Constantly looking for ways to improve administrative efficiency and customer service- Take initiative to analyze and solve problems as they arise- Foster relationships with participants and staffQUALIFICATIONS:- Current college student or recent graduate- Excellent phone presence and customer-service skills- Stellar written communication skills -- emails, letters, etc.- Great organizational skills and an attention to details- Strong multi-tasking skills- While not required, having own transportation and willingness to drive to camp locations is a huge bonus- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, primarily Word and Excel- Proficiency in using Apple Mail, Google Calendar, etc- And last, but not least, a sense of humorINTERNSHIP DURATION & COMPENSATION:We are looking to provide a breadth of experience for those seeking degrees in a wide range of fields including business, marketing, communications and sports management. Additionally, this position will provide a competitive hourly rate.Our ideal candidate will be available for the entire summer from May to August.
