    Over The Line Art is looking for talented artists to fill Letter Brush Art positions at the Woodland Park Zoo. Additional Fairs and Festivals (as needed). The art of Letter Brush is painting guests names using animals, sea-life, foliage as the letters. If you like lettering or graphic design, this could be the perfect job for you! Actual lettering experience is not necessary though it certainly helps! Learn the craft at one of the top tourist destinations in Seattle!

    Job responsibilities include setting up and maintaining our Letter Brush location at the Zoo according to company standards; providing memorable experiences through excellent guest service and professionally crafted art!

    Job Requirements include communication skills; punctuality, the ability to be on your feet for up to 8 hours; working outdoors through inclement weather, representing our company and the Zoo in a positive manner; the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

    Over The Line Art operates several art locations throughout Seattle. We are growing our Letter Brush business with opportunities at the Woodland Park Zoo. Learn the professional side of creating art and have the best summer ever!

    We provide a fun and safe environment for all of our employees to grow as artists and as a community. We are looking for applicants ready to start in early May. We will operate Friday - Monday in the Spring and we operate daily after Memorial Day. We do work weekends and holidays but we offer a flexible schedule.

    The position pays $20.76/hr plus tips OR 25% of net sales + tips (whichever is greater each work week) Currently hiring 20/30 hours per week with room for growth. Additional responsibilities include: -The selling and creating of Letter Brush art pieces at our location. -Positive and meaningful customer interactions -Stocking the locations -Some lifting required as needed -Cleanliness and organization skills required -Working outside -Some of our art positions require standing so you must be able to stand for various lengths of time inbetweens breaks -Must have a reliable form of transportation (either a car or a reliable bus route)

    Applicants do not need to submit a portfolio for review, although portfolios do help us assess your skill level. A try-out will be scheduled after the interview process to determine artistic aptitude. Once hired, paid training will take place at the hourly rate of $20.76
